P n S …!

X: why do we worry so much?
Y: you can come up with an answer yourself…
X: is it because we have so many Ps or just that we don’t have Ss?
Y: let’s stick to your first choice, go on…
X: as life progresses, we meet more Ps, I was P-less when I was a child. Does that mean the only way life can move on is by facing more Ps?
Y: Interesting…
X: or are you going to ask me not to be so negative or a pessimist?
Y: Who are optimists, those who fake hopes or those who genuinely believe in progress?
X: you agreed that life’s progression is to face many new and more Ps, so optimists are those who are keen on meeting new Ps… I would derive so!
Y: bang on!
X: so you must be a fool to not expect any mishaps?
Y: you must be an optimist to expect them…
X: so an optimist just expects Ps, not Ss?
Y: you must dig into it, if you’re capable…
X: hmmm, since there’s always a new P, why do we even need to S anything?
Y: you can’t get a new P until you S the old one…
X: I’ve read about deadlocks in my academics, is that what you mean?
Y: similar to that… life can’t move without new Ps and new Ps can’t come before S-ing old ones.
X: that also tells me that every P has to be S-ed…
Y: can be S-ed…
X: and so we gear up for new ones…
Y: and so life moves on…
X: it should…
Y: Good.

Just Hiding, not Lying...!!!

Well, this is kind of a response to my new friend's post 'Is Hiding considered as Lying?' We did have this argument before many times and as any other topic as complex as this sounds, you always have mixed opinions and agreements. Here's mine...

The question is what are you hiding? Is it a sweet or a bitter truth?
If I love someone and hide it from them, (I didn't say I hate them, just that I didn't say I love them) do you think I'm lying? NO
And if I hate someone, and I never tell them how much I dislike their attitude or behavior and instead just act as if I dont hate them (here I'm hiding the fact that I hate them), how much good they might be feeling by still thinking that I love them since I've hidden my hatred and in the process if my hatred vanishes, I don't have to repent on anything, coz I didn't hurt them (by revealing the truth) and so I didn't lie either...
I would rather put it this way - hiding is a simple and the best technique which helps u many a times to hold onto yourself and rather than revealing a shocking truth, hide it to avoid hurting someone. Take the example of 'Moment of truth' or 'Sach ka Saamna'... how many husbands digest their wife's secret affairs (and vice versa)? Also, given an option everyone would lie and everyone would want to keep secrets (or hide the truth)

All said, I love truth and I hate liers... When it comes to hiding I consider it not lying, instead the truth untold...

Truth is best unrevealed...
