Long way into blogging! Yet...

Well, it's been over 4yrs in blogger and almost 6yrs as a habitual writer! Whatever I wrote before that seems to have no traces or existence though memory takes me to as far as when I was 8 or 9yr old when I wrote a small piece on a pen that I got for scoring more marks! I remember the appreciation, I remember that I wrote but can't find it now!

The age of computer has indeed helped and we all can flaunt our stuffs in a gmail or a rapidshare or even cloud which is the future of course!

My first post here which I wrote while traveling in a cab on paper and later reached home to type the same on my desktop before uploading, when I wished I had a laptop to help me write sitting on the terrace! That happened and my posts didn't have to go through a pen or paper before making it to web.

Just recently I was thinking how good it would be to have a blogger app on my phone to just scribble anytime, anywhere without even the need for a laptop! And, I got my app very soon.

The hunger just didn't end there and I was already in need of a speech to text converter to eliminate the tedious process of typing on a small keypad of my phone and just yesterday I discovered there's another app to help me and posted my first ever blog that I didn't write but JUST SPOKE!

What a technology that! What you read was not what I wrote but what I spoke, there's something in between us which converts my speech for you to read and there's another thing that formats it with beautiful color n background! That has been a long way indeed if not in terms of time but in its form...

Yet, the hunger wouldn't die and will crave for something that'll read what's on the mind and convert those thoughts into a beautiful story for a reader! That day may not be too far and I want to be a part of it for sure!

Signing off... I just love being here and to be back again n again in new Avatar each time!

Blogging without typing!

This is my first blog on Dragon dictation. I kind of love it, it's quite accurate. This is almost 0 typing, oh yes I mean it! I just had to put down the exclamation mark and all you see here is what I spoke, not what I typed.
It cannot understand where my sentence ends and when to use a comma. And it's impossible to take it to new line. It's slow at times but I guess we will become friends soon and I can start talking to it like talking to myself. And that would be a perfect blog.
So I am signing off for now and it's been a good experience to begin with. Thank you Nuance for this software. Am already in love with it! Chow!!!BlogBooster-The most productive way for mobile blogging. BlogBooster is a multi-service blog editor for iPhone, Android, WebOs and your desktop

Lost...!

I just lost something that I had, that was part of me so much so that it didn't seem to ever depart! I just realized what it meant which I didn't when it mattered and had I then I wouldn't have lost! Everyone is a loser since we lose something or the other every now n then and still keep failing to realize what it would mean when it won't be anymore...

I just realized that I can indeed show how my heart craves for it since I've lost but it refuses to see n refuses to show up, I can't get it back! My computer or phone, my movies or home I can get back; there's backup, undo n insurance! But he doesn't seem to learn from us on how to make backups, he hates it n even swears to eat up all the backups we create!

For once I wanna show off my heart n feel proud of what it's got but it's a bit late and the one who's gotta see what I've got is already lost! Pardon n none may redo this mistake of mine n you help them undo their pride they had when they still possessed before they lost...BlogBooster-The most productive way for mobile blogging. Guzaarish Music Review

So, there comes one of the most awaited movies of this year by the ace director Sanjay Leela Bhansali – SLB. This time he extends his new avatar as a music director to the whole album of Guzaarish! Does he fare well or not? Here it is…
The title track by KK gets a good rendition in his typical style but the song’s mood is set to be quite dull and sad. The new lyricist doesn’t really take advantage of the opportunity and goes on to write lines that almost end like rhymes with Guzaarish, baarish, khwaaish and farmaayish! The issh song in Devdaas still sounds fresh against this one! SLB starts off with just an average number.
'Sau Gram Zindagi' is a far better composition and has been intelligently penned and much melodiously sung by Kunal Ganjawala. It might be interesting to watch the video on this. SLB recreates the Saawariya effect with Kunal once again and towards the end the song gets more energetic with English lines and ends as a descent hummable track!
'Tera Zikr hai' by Shail Hada who gave the beautiful title track of Saawariya rests completely on the nuances of a singer which is again let down by average lyrics. SLB writes more notes for his singer than his musicians and that’s his trademark for this album. There’s nothing great to talk about this track except for the final aalap that's noteworthy!
'Saiba' starts with a haunting melody with lines like ‘tuzo mog maka diga’ followed by melodious Vibhavari Joshi’s rendition. SLB again writes clear notes for her and she amazes with a fresh voice. One more hummable tune that you might remember even at the end of the album!
KK comes back with his 2nd track which sounds further saddened and if you’re missing someone you might just get connected to this song, else you’ll easily sleep through it! SLB is the one who got KK sing the everlasting ‘Tadap Tadap’ and KK seems to have shown his gratitude with this number ‘Jaane kiske khwaab’ - just another sad n slow number in the album.
Now the best song of the album begins in Sunidhi Chauhan’s voice. SLB excels with ‘Udi’ and Sunidhi shows how good a singer she is and might just run away with lots of nominations (I wish awards!) for this track that she won’t easily forget in years! The 'maka diga' lines reappear this time with feet thumping beats and elevated Sunidhi. A great job indeed!
The downfall of the album just starts with Shail Hada’s ‘Keh Na Saku’. SLB doesn’t care to make this sad song interesting at all. It’s sad, slow and sleepy. I can only pity the singer and can’t even imagine how one can sit through this in the movie! And, no exaggeration that!
‘Chand ki katori’ that starts like a lori succeeds. It’s indeed hard to be awake through this song for its lyrics, the crying voice of Harshdeep Kaur and such average notes of SLB! Lines with katori, chatori and batori in 2010? May be SLB was kidding!
KK got one more song - 'Daayein Baayein'! This one got some life into it and you might just try to recover from depression that the album had caused so far. But before you do, the song is over and gives way to another debacle in the form of Shankar Mahadevan’s voice! I never disliked a song of his this much before that I can’t believe my ears listening to ‘Dhundhli Dhundhli’. Since he’s my favorite singer I can’t take any courage to criticize this one. But Mr. SLB just doesn’t seem to smile at all when he’s with his instruments.
I wish SLB knew more on the genre of music that Guzaarish needed or had gone back to Ismail Darbar or even Monty Sharma for these songs. For me, SLB’s only composition for Saawariya which was ‘Thode Badmaash’ had more life and freshness compared to the songs in this album. Some of the strengths are SLB doesn’t rely on a single remix or heavy beats or item numbers here and tries to come out in a style that’s his unique and original (though its hard to ignore references to Saawariya)! And this album has more for its singers than its listeners. Though the songs are melodious, there's not much variety and you can’t have 10 sad songs packed in 1 album! I can only feel sad for the songs because individually they are good but together they are dull…
My Guzaarish is Mr. SLB please refrain from using all these songs in the movie, else you know what happened with your Saawariya!?
P.S.: Whatever happened to the SLB we knew of HDDCS, who had so much life n colors n music!

Wait...!!!

The journey had taken a new turn, a new route and a new experience that felt like walking in a heaven that was filled with colors and smiles. Though the road unexistent, never laid, filled with thorns n huge sturdy grass stood ahead to be walked as the only path to the destiny, hands joined hands while two feet had become four. Sunny day brought sweat but a mild blow of breath felt like a breaze in the desert! The dry and thirsty lips met and turned wet and drove away all thirst that ever accumulated.

A journey like this can be anywhere on the earth or hell, would be enjoyed just because of the hands that held and the feet that walked together that never complained! The smile that never vanished and while thorns stuck the blood didn't pain. Without crying or complaning the road of tough paths had ended and a bright way ahead opened...

At that point when I stood alone, I no more wanted to walk and my hands looked for what they had got locked, my feet didn't move unless they multiplied and wait continued for the one without whom the journey was not even worth traveling, worth trying or worth living! The eyes await and hands stretched I stand wreteched for the warmth of togetherness without caring for what laid on the path ahead... Without the hands the wait goes ahead and the journey stuck, the path still laid...

My Tears...!

The clouds were thick dense and almost touchable, trees bowed down to the wind almost as though kissing each others' branches n leaves, the park didn't have a single grass standing straight! With raised hands like crucified Jesus, head raised up above asking-wanting-needing to be hugged I stood and the eyeballs shook like reacting to the wind, lips shivering n dry!

Filled eyes held back from flowing down same like clouds that didn't pour down...not yet, said the master! 'Unless you are ordered' The verdict was to be honored!

They who had known had become strangers, tolerance being questioned, again they waged same wars! To react was easy but not to was the choice and hung in silence none had any conclusion. Such times should end and can't be long believed the pumping heart but how true - the master didn't revert.

Slowly the eyes gave way and as though a broken dam it had flown down. They arrived to see and clouds had departed too... The tears were washed away, master said none will see you cry! They saw the wet face and turned away...

Like the sun who made all stars look unworthy, rains made my tears drown in them while they said I didn't cry and walked away once again... I looked up, the master whispered but I'm no saint to decipher!
