These are our legendary directors and actors making same movies for decades! When someone comes with a ‘Hey Ram’ or ‘Vishwaroopam’ we ban him! Come on Kamal Haasan, make a brainless ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’ instead and go home with all awards and money.

An Old Moon...!

I saw some moon tonight, she looked rather pale, unappealing and kept appearing nevertheless. ‘You weren't this ugly before, you don’t inspire anymore’, I cursed! I didn't see her for sometime but I’m eventually on the road once again. The skies were clear yet something was dodgy. Some air that stood polluted and eclipsed!

Yes, there have been those dark marks on you always. But you shined, you reflected well. You glowed and I waited to see you each night. You came in several shapes new and full, sharp and intense. But today you fail to impress…

My long day thus ended but you kept recurring in my thoughts. That love you once evoked appears lost in dust. It’s all foggy and unclear, little ugly even. For once I wonder if I loved you ever!

Call it a curse or destiny, some bad luck or misfortune, none of which I ever believed before. But it brings me to you who stirred emotions, made me a poet, an artist and a dreamer. The same you who taught me verses and peeked at nights to ensure I smiled. That colorful crown of yours after rains, that glowing star which hung like your ornament, I kept staring at you with passion. Those nights have been lost somewhere, I can’t comprehend!

I turn a few pages and turn a few more. I see you there, you the beautiful, pleasant and peaceful. I see my open arms reaching skies calling and hugging you tight. I’m alone wandering on dead roads at midnight just with you showing me light. I spoke to you about everything and I told you my story. Only you knew me! But again, those pages seem worn out and old. Clocks have ticked, times have flown and past is gone. Like always!

And today I feel no love, no attraction or possession. It’s the same you, oh moon! It’s the same me, too. But there’s an air that’s polluted that stands between the two…

Why would I not write?

May be this thought isn't new, or maybe it’s not good enough to be transformed into words. At times it does, but won’t make it to the blog or won’t get saved, even gets deleted. At times few thoughts flow like ocean, very original and provoking. They just get lost somewhere if not held onto.

At times there’s just no time. Though everything important and unimportant get attended to! While in front of a computer or with a book and pen, sometimes with a tablet, sometimes on phone there’s a blocker. Writer’s block they say!

‘Don’t write for the sake of it’ ‘Write something that’s interesting and appealing’ ‘Write better than ever before’ – such cautions and warnings keep echoing and tease the mind.

Everything needn't be real, intense or sensible. Can’t even be a waste of time or absolute junk and a reader’s curse! Then what does it got to be?

Or it could just be a limitation! Everything that’s possible has already been done and there’s no room for anything new! Isn't that scary? Like it’s the end of it, there’s no future… Might just be hard to believe, yet could be true!

Wish it’s none of the above and I be back soon. With something, very soon…

Harmony!

Sometimes we fail to understand our closed ones while at the same time we gel well with strangers. Sometimes we love loneliness but are surrounded by people. Sometimes we all want to break-free but are hesitant. Sometimes we are so close to success but won’t take that one last step.

Life’s strange, unpredictable, unknown and filled with many such moments while at the same time it’s beautiful, serene and content!

We meet yet don’t talk, we’re away yet connected. We leave yet want to get back.

Taking decision is not always easy purely because there’s no right or wrong. Repenting is of no use either, coz the decision has been taken and life has moved on. Going back in time aka time machine sounds good in a fiction not in real. Everything would've changed including ourselves leaving us neither in the past nor in present! What would such a future hold?

We all get to walk on a certain road that’s unique to each one of us, as unique as each one of us. Neither the path can be compared nor the individuals. We meet people on our paths, like them, walk with them. All’s well until we compare coz that’s when we fail! We can’t walk together anymore and suddenly our paths diverge, so far that they never meet and so do we!

They say being happy is just a state of mind, but how difficult is it to achieve? Ask someone who’s just lost a loved one, or someone who’s left in the middle of a calamity. Could they be happy ever? May be yes, but not too soon! How is it then happiness is just a state of mind!? The mind is still there and so is the individual, except for the happiness. It’s important to be sad to really understand the meaning of happiness, to be really happy. All various emotions are equally important. Someone who’s always smiling or always happy can’t be real. At the same time, we can’t show our extreme self in public. Concealing without hiding, compassion without faking we aim to live in harmony with each other. If stirred emotions are left to act, irrevocable damage could be done. We are all answerable to the society as much to ourselves and vice-versa.

No amount of good education or literacy can produce good hearts. Moral stories are not for preaching but for practice. Only practice makes us perfect, be it for good or bad. Practice being good, do good things often, and serve those in need repeatedly. Talking, even thinking bad about a particular sex, race, religion or region will worsen our world. The world has grown, lifespan has increased, and population has multiplied, but happiness?

Is harmony such a difficult thing to achieve? We witness it all around us except within us and between us!
