I love you, Rain…

It rained heavily for days and months or it was years! The strong umbrella had gone weak and roads were slippery, muddy and un-walkable. But I had walked, walked all along sometimes smiling at the lightening, sometimes loving the chilling showers!

The thunderstorms no more scared, didn’t bring jerks in heart! The rough journey was almost like a cakewalk! I didn’t need any umbrella, nor did a raincoat for they got me drenched enough, to care for. I had fallen many times before to get hurt, while none lent any hand to look at. Those who stayed under warm villas I thought might have just had roofs broken apart. Didn't matter to the one who decided to shower…

At once I might have just slipped across a mountain and fell into hell but I held onto. I looked up and smiled to say pour more and I bet, I smile again! They might not listen, or it might not bother them or what else they thought rains didn’t tell! I had to walk when I saw a few fall down to the trap and a few gave it up. I said I don’t, I won’t and I shouldn’t coz I’m not the one to let you win ever!

The battle continued and hence was the life. If they thought I was battling not to loose then they were just not right. I’m born to win and that’s what I believe… prove me wrong if you ever could do that… no showers of yours, no broken umbrellas could tear me apart.

I love you, rain…

Just a Smile...?

How good does it feel when someone - a stranger looks at you with a smile?

What if you are about to beat up your maid for a suspected theft and she gives an innocent smile...

Or just when you're out of the meeting where you had an ugly argument and your colleague smiles at you!

And, just when u fought with your wife and were leaving home angrily and she stops you with a smile...

How the reaction would change in all these occasions? When you could feel good about it, so would the counterpart!

So think before you talk, but not before you smile!

A Piece of Peace

Can I find it somewhere? Anywhere I’m ready to go, anytime I can venture, but I’m in need of it.

Where is it out there, anyways? Not even within, I find a bit of it.

Just a piece of peace I’m searching, whoever stole it just return back for the cost of what it deserves (plus compound interest and commission and service tax)

Into pieces it’s broken, smaller than what I could see…

Is it lost forever I want to know. If the answer is yes I give up right now!

Positive thoughts are tired, smiles have become plastic, and hopes have fallen sick.

Optimism and determination all sound latin n greek, when there’s not even a piece of peace.

I still ask, can I have my piece of peace…
