Amma, nee nanna kareya baarade
Baa kanda yenna baarade
Kangalannu teredu naanu ninna kaanade
Koneyadondu usiranelede badukalaarade

Yenidenidentha novu, ninna kannaleke marugu
Nanna nova nungi nalide neene aa hindomme tirugi nodey
Kelalaarade helalaarade tiliyalaarade
Aluva maguvanariva neenu koragadiru mundindendu

Kareye omme baaro endu
Nanna muddu kandanendu
Huduki karula balliyannu
Appalendu baruve naanu

Madidarenu naanomme
Aladiru nanagaagi taaye
Janisalendu matte kaayve, karedaakshanave thevali baruve
Amma endu ninne kareve...
